I. Objectives:

 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

 - understand and correctly repeat the sentences in two communicative contexts in which pupils ask and answer questions about a sports day.

*Ss can develop some following competences:

 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4

 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3

 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4

 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4

 * Ss can develop some following attributes:

- Love sports

- Help friends

 * Language focus:

- Vocabulary: May, June, July, August, March, April

- Sentence Patterns: Is your sports day in . ? – Yes, it is/ No, it isn’t. It’s in .

- Differentiated teaching:

+ Incomplete ss can take part in the limited activities such as read some easy words and the pattern.

+ Well-completed ss can read correctly all words, help T demo something, join some difficult activities, do creative activities.

I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 - understand and correctly repeat the sentences in two communicative contexts in which pupils ask and answer questions about a sports day.
*Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, a...ng, join some difficult activities, do creative activities.
II. Materials: 
 1. Teacher’s aids: Student’s and Teacher’s book, pictures cassette, interactive 
 2. Students aids: Textbook, notebooks and workbooks.
 III. Methods: Pictures, Picture cue drill, Grammar Translation Method, Audio Lingual Method, Presentation-Practice-Production, pair work and group work.
IV. Teaching activities
*Activity 1: Warm up (4 minutes)

 III. Methods: Pictures, Picture cue drill, Grammar Translation Method, Audio Lingual Method, Presentation-Practice-Product... check their answers. Give the answer.

 -Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards

- Play the recording for ss to listen to the tape.
- Ask ss to practice in pairs.

 - Have pairs practise asking and answering questions about months. Go around the classroom to observe and provide help. 
 - Invite a few pairs to the front of the class to perform their conversations. Praise pupils if they perform well.
