We use wish + past form verb when: - We want something now or in the future to be different. - We talk about situations that are contrary to the present reality. Structure Reality: He don’t have a family. Present simple Wish: He wishes he had a family. Past simple S + wish (es) + S + past simple Ex 3 (p 43). Put the verbs in brackets in the correct forms. 1.
