 Period 40 UNIT 12: DON’T RIDE YOUR BIKE TOO FAST!
 Lesson 1 (1, 2,3 ) 
I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 	 +Use the words and phrases related to the topic Preventing accident at home
 + Express and respond to concerns about possible accidents at home, , using “ Don’t..! 
 OK, I won’t”
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
+ Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
+ Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3
+ Self...ut possible accidents at home 
 Don’t..! – Ok, I won’t in daily life.
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.
 - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.
III. Method: 
 -Communicative Language Teaching.
 - Total Physical Response.
 - Natural Approach.
 -3 Ps
 - Work indivdually, pairwork, groupwork.
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up: Whisper
 Ride bike tree play ok fast
 - 4 sts in 2 teams listen to T’s word, go to the board and circle...Teacher helps below average ss to pronounce the hard words
 - Below read 2 words.
 -Good ss read 4 words
 b. Set the sence:
 - Introduce the characters in the picture on page 12 and what they are doing.
 - Play the recording and ask Ss to listen & point to the lines, then listen & repeat.
 - Practice the dialogue:
 (Teacher- Class /Group A –Group B / S1- S2)
 - Aks ss to draw out the target item
 - Check how to use the for
 Don’t play with matches!

 + Have Ss practice in groups, pairs.
 + Call some pairs to do the dialogue in front of the class.
 + Call a few pairs to act out the express & response in front of the class.\

 + Vocabulary: play with matches, ride your bike too fast, climb the tree, run down the
 stairs.

 - Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the foll...related to the topic Preventing accident at home.

 + Show the poster. Ask SS guess and circle a,b,c in two groups ( can call below average 
 ss).T keeps ss’prediction on the board.
 + Play the recording twice. Ss listen and tick then share with their partners.
 + Call some ss to give the answer on the board, other ss give comment.Then T lets ss listen to
 the tape again to give feedback and check their prediction.
 + Declare ss have the correct answer and prediction
 + Call some ss to ask and answer again.

 - Procedure:
 + Introduce the song.
 + Explain the meaning of the song.
 + Get ss read the lyrics, play the tape twice . 
 + SS listen and sing along sentence by sentence .
 + Sing the whole song chorally.
 + Invite a group to sing the song and do actions in front of the c...ry more.
 + Give feedback
