UNIT 16: Let’s go to the bookshop
Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3)
I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson
 - students will be able to make and respond to suggestions to go somewhere. 
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 2
 + Problem-solving competence: act 2
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 2
 *Language focus: 
 - Vocabulary:  bookshop, ba...al Approach

 -Work individually, pairwork, groupwork
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
 * Content:
(Brain storming)
 beach

 *Procedure
> Divide class into 2 groups, write the places that they had learnt & known.
- Check and congratulate the winners
Activity 2: Presentation:
 *Content 
1.Look, listen and repeat
Pre-teach vocabulary:
- bakery : tiệm bánh mỳ
- pharmacy : tiệm thuốc tây
- sweet shop : tiệm kẹo
- supermarket: siêu thị
...n & repeat.
- T calls 2 sts play the rolesof Phong & Mai
- T elicits sts to draw the main structure 
 Activity 3: Practice
 *Content : Point and say
>T asks sts to look at 4 pictures (part 2/ page 40), run through the words in the pictures.
- Practise.
+ Teacher – The whole class and vice versa.
+ group A – group B and vice versa.
+ 4 Open pairs practise modelly 
+ Sts practice in pairs (chang the roles)
+ Call some pairs to present in front of the class. (close pairs – open pairs)...d form.
 + Vocabulary: bookshop, bakery, pharmacy, supermarket, sweet shop, I’m busy, great/good idea! 
 + Form: let’s go to the ____________. I want to _____________.
 - Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson). 
 + Praise some ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback

>Sts listen to the tape (2 times) and tick the mentioned pictures.
- Share the result with a partner.
- Call sts in 2 groups present the result on the board.
- Give comments
- Listen the last time, sts & teacher correct.
> Call 3 pairs of sts to ask & answer with 3 pictures that they have just listened.
 Activity 3: 
 *Content: 4.Look and write
 *Procedure:
>Look at the pictures (page 41), focus sts on the places, something they want to buy
- Have sts complet...ng, point to the lines, remember the tune.
- Sing along with the recording.
- Groups sing.
- Some volunteer sts sing in front of class.
 t Consolidation:
- Content: Review the song and form.
 + Form: “Let’s go to the ?” Because I want to buy ...
- Procedure:
