Week 10 Period 42 UNIT 7: WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING ? Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3) I. TEACHING ACTIVITIES: Activity 1: Warm up HIDDEN PICTURE *Procedure: - explain the rule of the game. -Sts play in 2groups: boys and girls Activity 2: Presentation: -Content 1.Look, listen and repeat a.Teaching vocabulary: +swimming + cooking + collecting stamps + music room + watching TV b. OBJECTIVES: * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: + listen and tick the correct pictures. + Write the words that suit the pictures in the blanks. + Sing a song with the words that they learnt - Develop some following competences: + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 2, act 3 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4 + Problem-...rm up “ Boards race” Activity 2: -Content 4 : Listen and tick + Ask Ss to look at the pictures ; eliciting the characters and what they are talking basing on the time. - Procedure: + Show how to do the task (listening and ticking on the correct pictures). + Elicit the names of the characters. + Play the recording and ask Ss to listen & point to the right picture. + Play the recording again for Ss to tick on the correct pictures. + Replay for Ss to check their answers.
