 - Vocabulary: swimming , cooking, collecting stamps, watching TV

 - Differentiated teaching:

+ Incomplete ss: can ask and answer about their friends’ hobbies

+ Well-completed ss: can answer more than one hobby.

Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3)
I. OBJECTIVES:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 + know vocabularies about hobby.
 + know how to ask answer about hobby
 + use the words and phrases in the topic “hobby”
 *Develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4
 + Problem-sol...individually, pairwork, groupwork
IV. TEACHING ACTIVITIES:
 Activity 1: Warm up HIDDEN PICTURE
 *Procedure:
 - explain the rule of the game.
 -Sts play in 2groups: boys and girls 
 Activity 2: Presentation:
 -Content 1.Look, listen and repeat
 a.Teaching vocabulary:
 +swimming
 + cooking
 + collecting stamps
 + music room
 + watching TV
 b. Set the sence:
 -Introduce the characters in the picture and what they are doing, what they are talking about.
 -Play the recording and ask S...form in front of the class. (well-completed)
 + Ask Ss to practice with their partners.
 + Ask some pairs to present in the front of the class.
 Activity 4: Production
 -Content 3: Game: Beanbag circle
 + Explain the rule of the game.
 + Ask Ss to practice with their own activity they like to do.
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss practice in groups & pairs.
 S1: What do you like doing?
 S2: I like collecting stamps.

- Content: Review vocabulary and form.

UNIT 7: WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING?
Lesson 2 (4, 5, 6)
I. OBJECTIVES:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
+ listen and tick the correct pictures.
+ Write the words that suit the pictures in the blanks.
+ Sing a song with the words that they learnt
 - Develop some following competences: 
+ Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
+ Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 2, act 3
+ Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4
+ Problem-...rm up 
 “ Boards race”
 Activity 2:
 -Content 4 : Listen and tick
 + Ask Ss to look at the pictures ; eliciting the characters and what they are talking basing on the time.
- Procedure:
 + Show how to do the task (listening and ticking on the correct pictures).
 + Elicit the names of the characters.
 + Play the recording and ask Ss to listen & point to the right picture.
 + Play the recording again for Ss to tick on the correct pictures.
 + Replay for Ss to check their answers.
 Activ...Ss to repeat.
 + Play the recording for Ss to sing along.
 + Make gestures for Ss to imitate.
 + Play the recording for Ss to sing along and make gestures.
 + Divide the class into 2 groups: boys and girls. Ask Ss to stand up when they sing their parts.
 + Ask some Ss to sing in front.
 t Consolidation:
- Content: Review the song and form.
 + Form: What do you like doing?-->I like.
- Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the following questions:

 b. Set the sence:
 Tell ss that they are going to learn to how to ask and answer questions about someone's hobbies. 
 + Show the pictures then ask Ss the name of the characters and what they say: Who are they?/ Where are they?/ What are they doing?/ What are they talking about?
 + Explain what happens in the pictures. 
 + Have Ss open their books page 48
 + Play the recording for Ss to listen and point to ...'s your hobby? I like.........
 - Point to each character in the picture & elicit his/ her name & the words to fill the gaps.
 - Write the whole sentences on the board. Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times
 - Repeat the procedure with the second picture.
 - Do choral & individual repetition.
 - Have Ss practice in pairs. Check as a class and correct pronunciation, if necessary.
 - Go around to help them
 - Call some pairs to report in front of the class
 - Give feedback and....
- Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson). 
 + Praise some ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback
