Warm up: (5’) a) Objective: Introduce the new lesson and s...e speech from task c while the other student reports the statements in Reported speech for statement - Call some Ss. work in pair in front of the class. - Check the answer and their pronunciation and give feedback. - Lead Ss. to the new lesson Option 2 - Have Ss. make sentences with the new words on page 68. - Ask Ss. work in pairs: one read the new statements, the other student listens and reports the statements again with Reported speech; then take turn. - Call some pairs to pract... life and pronounce sound /d:/ correctly. b) Content: Focus on pronunciation /d:/ and practice speaking skills. c) Expected outcomes: Ss. pronounce sound /d:/ correctly in the conversation about the celebrity’s life. d) Organization of the activity: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES Task a + b. Focus on the sound /d/ and listen to the words and focus on the underlined letters. - Play the recording (CD2, track 22) (using DCR).
