 - Ss can develop some following competences:

 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 2, act 5

 + Problem-solving competence: act 3, act 4

 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 3, act 4, act 5

 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 5

 *Language focus:

 - Vocabulary: review voc from Unit 6 – 10

 - Structure:: review structure from Unit 6 – 10

 - Differentiated teaching:

+ Incomplete Ss: can talk some ativities that they can do.

+ Well-completed Ss: can talk about themselve.

 II. Materials:

 -Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.

 -Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards

 Activity 1: Warm up 
 - Kim’s game:
 Activity 2:
 -Content 1. Listen and tick
 - Procedure:
 + Show Ss how to carry out the task & tick the box. 
 + Elicit the name s of the characters.
 + Have Ss repeat them.
 + Play the tape 3 times for Ss to listen. Do the task & check their answers.
 + Get Ss to swap & check their answers before checking as a class.
 Activity 3: 
 -Content 2: Listen and number
 - Procedure:
 + Show Ss how to carry out the task & tick the box. 
 +... on the board for Ss to copy down.
 + Call a few pairs to read aloud.
 Activity 5: 
 -Content 4: Read and match
 - Procedure: 
 + Ask Ss how to do the task: read carefully and then match. Give an example.
 + Give Ss time to do the task.
 + Get Ss to swap & check their answers before checking as a class.
 + Divide the class into 2 groups & have them to read aloud each character’s’ line respectively.

 - Procedure: 
 + Point to each character in t...lues of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson).

I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 read, listen and understand a short story.
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
+ Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 3
+ Problem-solving competence: act...k individually, pairwork, groupwork 
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
 Hangman: C-A-T M-O-U-S-E 
 Activity 2:
 -Content 1: Fill the gaps. Then listen and check.

 - Procedure:
 + Sts look at the pictures and ask them questions (e.g. What can you see? A chair, a door, a window ....)
 + Give Ss time to fill the gaps.
 + Ask Ss to practise the conversation in groups of three.
 + Check comprehension and give feedback.
 + Play the recording three times for Ss to listen,...er the sentences. Then act out in pairs.
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss to read and number the sentences in the correct order.
 + Give Ss time to do the task.
 + Get Ss to swap & check their answers before checking as a class.
 + Call a few pairs to read the dialogues aloud.
