 *Language focus:

 - Vocabulary: mother, father, brother, sister, family

 - Structure: A: Who’s this/ that?

 B: It’s my father

 - Differentiated teaching:

 + Incomplete ss: can ask and answer questions about a family member

 + Well-completed ss: can ask and answer questions about a family member and talk about family member.

 *Attributes:

 + Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks

 + Diligence: complete learning tasks

 + Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions

I. Objectives: 
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 - use the words mother, father, brother, sister related to the topic “My family”
 - use Who’s this / that? – It’s my . to ask and answer questions about a family member
 - listen to and demonstrate understanding of simple communicative contexts in relation to the topic “My family” 
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and colla...er and talk about family member.
 *Attributes:
 + Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks
 + Diligence: complete learning tasks
 + Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions

 II. Materials:
 -Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards,CD.

 b. Set the sence:
 + Show the picture and elicit the answer of who the characters are.
	+ Explain what happens in the picture. ( Linda asks Mai who is in the picture. Mai answers this girl is her sister, and the boy is her brother).
	+ Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.
	+ Repeat the procedure with the picture b.
	+ Do choral & individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.
	+ Play the tape for Ss to listen &...o’s that?

 + Have Ss practice in pairs. Check as a class. Good Ss will help the below average Ss
