* Language focus:
- Vocabulary: Good morning /afternoon/ Good evening, nice to meet you, I’m very well.
- Strucrure: - How are you? – I’m very well, Thank you.
II. Materials:
- Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.
- Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.

Week 1 Theme 1: Me & my friends Period 1 UNIT 1: NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN Lesson 1 (1, 2) I. Objectives: * By the end of the period, Sts will be able to: + know how to greet someone formally. - Good sts : apply these expressions well. - Weak sts : read these ones or remember two or three of them. + use the words and phrases related to the topic Introduction. + use Good morning /afternoon/ Good evening. I’m + (name)/ Nice to meet you. * Language focus: - Vocabulary...letter randomly if there is that letter in the key word, that group doesn’t go down & if there isn’t that letter, that group will go down 1 step (weak sts are prioritized). - The winner is the group find out the key word first or go down least. Activity 1: Presentation: Look, listen and repeat Pre-Teach vocabulary: + Good morning ( situation ) + Good afternoon (visual) + Good evening ( explanation) b. Set the sence: - T asks good sts to introduce the characters in the picture... in pairs; call on some pairs to perform in front of the class. Production: (Close – pairs) * Consolidation: - Content: Review vocabulary and form. + Vocabulary: Good morning /afternoon/ Good evening. I’m + (name)/ Nice to meet you. + Give feedback * Homework: - Learn by heart the pattern / Write the expressions 5 times Week 1 UNIT 1: NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN Period 2 Lesson 1 (3, 4, 5) I. Objectives: * By the end of this lesson, Sts will be able to: + listen to someone .... - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards. III. Method: - Communicative Language Teaching/Work individually, pairwork, groupwork. III. Teaching activities: Activity 1: Warm up Who is faster? (good morning good afternoo good evening good bye) - T shows & runs through the time, then he asks Ss in 2 teams to look at and tell the time, who says correctly & faster will win. => lead – in Activity 2: Listen and tick * Procedure: - T shows the pictures on board...; correction Activity 4: => Let’s sing * Procedure: - T runs through the song first à sts listen to the recording 1 time à listen the 2nd time and follow à sing each sentence à sts A sing first + sts B sing the next ones. - Let sts practice in pairs. à some good sts represent in front of class. t Consolidation: - Content: Review the song / rewrite the writing. t Homework: - Do Ex B on + E1/p. 6 / Rewrite the writing / Review the song. Objectives: * By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: +) listen & write the short dialogues to greet each other formally. - Good sts : apply in real dialogues - Weak sts : retell the dialogues by looking at the pictures. * Language focus: - Write the short dialogues. II. Materials: - Teacher’s: Textbook – workbook, poster of warmer, pictures on p.9. - Students’: books, notebooks, crayo... feedback. Activity 2: Listen and number ( p.9) Set the scene (picture) * Procedure: - T shows the pictures on board - T & good sts run through the pictures. - Sts‘ prediction (weak sts guess the number, the better ones guess the words they can hear). - T plays recording 3times, sts listen & tick the Ps they hear (individually). - Sts share with their partner. - let weak or average sts correct on board.
