Lesson 1: 123 Page 6
Objective
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 + use the words and phrases related to the topic Introduction
 + SS will be able to talk about someone’s address.
What’s your address? Q It’s 81, Tran Hung Dao Street.
- Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control ...file.
2. Students: student book, notebook, pen, pencil
III. Method:
Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising, discussion group, technical present....
IV. Teaching activities:
	Activity 1: warm up 3 ms
 hello song / greeting ( how are you?/ introduce sth about yourself)
	Activity 2: Presentation 7 ms
- Teach new words: numbers, address, lane, road, floor, flat, tower .
...character in the picture & elicit his/ her address & the words to fill the gaps.
 + Write the whole sentences on the board.
 + Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.
 	 + Repeat the procedure with the second picture.
 + Do choral & individual repetition, using the characters’ name as prompts.
Activity 4: Production
Content: let’s talk
- Procedure:
 + Elicit the names of the characters & what each one says. 
 + Fill the bubbles & write the sentences on the board.
 + Get Ss ...- Content: Review vocabulary and form.
- Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson). 
 + Praise some ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback

	- Ask ss to prepare Unit 1 lesson 1: 456 – page 7.

 II. Materials:
 -Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards,CD.
 -Students’: books, noteb...( call below average ss).T keeps ss’prediction on the board.
 + Play the recording twice. Ss listen and match then share with their partners.
 + Call some ss to give the answer on the board, other ss give comment.Then T lets ss listen to 
 the tape again to give feedback and check their prediction.
 + Declare ss have the correct answer and prediction.
 + Call some ss to ask and answer 4 pictures 
 Note:
 - Good ss say the sentence they heard. (difficult)
 - Below average ss repeat .

 	+ Read the lyrics to the song line by line & without music.
 	+ Ss repeat.
 	+ Play the tape.
 	+ Have Ss point to the words as they listen.
 	 + Sing the lyrics line by line & use gestures
 	+ Play the tape & have Ss sing along.
 	 + Sing the song with the tape. The groups stand as they sing

 - Teacher models one by one word: Ss listen and repeat ( Choral- group and individually)
 -Teacher helps below average ss to pronounce the hard words
 - Below average ss read 2 words.
 - Good ss read 3 words.
 b. Set the sence:
 - Procedure: 
 + Introduce the characters in the picture on page 8 and what they are talking...irs)
 + Sts practice in pairs; call on some pairs to perform in front of the class and give 
 indirect correction.
 Activity 4: Production
 -Content 3: Let’s talk
 - Procedure:
 + Ask 1 ss to walk around the class when the music on,when the music off he/she stops and 
 ask the nearest friend some questions.Then his/ her friend will be the next .
