NỘI DUNG ÔN TẬP VÀ HƯỚNG DẪN TỰ HỌC TUẦN 24& 25 
Trong tuần này, chúng ta tiếp tục ôn tập về CÂU SO SÁNH và sẽ làm một số bài tập để nắm rõ hơn về CÂU SO SÁNH nhé các bạn!
Như tuần trước chúng ta đã học, có 2 loại CÂU SO SÁNH cần phải nắm trong bài này là: SO SÁNH HƠN và SO SÁNH NHẤT. 
Hôm nay, Thầy sẽ ôn lại đồng thời mở rộng thêm về cách dùng 2 loại câu so sánh này.
® SO SÁNH HƠN: COMPARATIVE
Short words (1 syllable) à -er: So sánh hơn với tính từ ngắn, ta thêm -er vào tính từ, và tính từ ngắn là tính từ chỉ có 1 âm tiết hay nói cách khác là đọc chỉ có 1 âm mà thôi. 
Ví dụ:
old à older: già, cũ	è già hơn, cũ hơn	
slow à slower: chậm è chậm hơn	
cheap à cheaper: rẻ è rẻ hơn 
nice à nicer: đẹp è đẹp hơn
late à later: trể è trể hơn 	
big à bigger: to lớn è to lớn hơn
 hot à hotter: nóng è nóng hơn 
Words ending in –y à -ier: Những tính từ kết thúc bằng “ y” thì chúng ta đổi thành “ i” và thêm -er vào è -ier
Ví dụ: 
Easy à easier: đơn giản, dễ dàng	è đơn giản hơn, dễ dàng hơn
heavy à heavier: nặng è nặng hơn 
early à earlier: sớm è sớm hơn 
Long words: (2/3/4 syllables) à MORE : So sánh hơn với TÍNH TỪ DÀI ta thêm MORE vào trước tính từ, và tính từ dài là những tính từ có từ 2 hoặc nhiều âm tiết.
Ví dụ:
careful à more careful : cẩn thận	è cẩn thận hơn
polite à more polite: lịch sự è lịch sự hơn 
expensive à more expensive : đắt	è đắt hơn 	
interestingà more interesting: thú vị è thú vị hơn 
comfortable è more comfortable: thoải mái è thoải mái hơn 
modern è more modern: hiện đại è hiện đại hơn
® SO SÁNH NHẤT: SUPERLATIVE
Short words (old/ cheap/ nice etc. ) à the -est: So sánh nhất với TÍNH TỪ NGẮN, ta thêm -est vào tính từ.
old à the olest: già, cũ è già nhất, cũ nhất	
cheap à the cheapest: rẻ è rẻ nhất 	
nice à the nicest: đẹp è đẹp nhất
big à the biggest: to lớn è to lớn nhất	
hot à the hottest: nóng è nóng nhất	
tall à the tallest: cao è cao nhất
words ending in –y (easy, heavy etc.) à the –est: những từ kết thúc bằng “ y” thì chúng ta sẽ đổi thành “ i” và thêm -est vào è -iest
ví dụ: 
easy à the easiest: đơn giản	è đơn giản nhất
heavy à the heaviest	: nặng è nặng nhất
pretty à the prettiest: xinh đẹp, dễ thương è xinh đẹp nhất, dễ thương nhất
Long words (careful / expensive / interesting etc.) à the most..: So sánh nhất với TÍNH TỪ DÀI, ta thêm THE MOST vào trước tính từ đó.
Ví dụ:
Expensive è the most expensive : đắt è đắt nhất
Difficult è the most difficult: khó è khó nhất
Comfortable è the most comfortable: thoải mái è thoải mái nhất
Modern è the most modern: hiện đại è hiện đại nhất
NHƯNG những từ bên dưới sau đây sẽ không theo các quy tắt trên:
Good 	è	better 	è	the best : tốt, giỏi 
bad 	è	worse 	è	the worst: tệ, dở
Far 	è	farther/ further	è the farthest / the furthest: xa 
Much/many è	more 	è the most: nhiều 
Little	è	less 	è	the least: ít
