UNIT 19: Which place would you like to visit?
Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3)
I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 + use the words and phrases related to the places to visit 
 + ask and answer questions about which place someone would like to visit, using Which place would you like to visit,or? I’d like to visit
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
 + Problem-solving compete...oks, pictures, flashcards, CD.
 -Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards
III. Method:
 -Communicative Language Teaching
 -Total Physical Response
 -Natural Approach
 -3Ps
 -Work individually, pairwork, groupwork
IV. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up : (matching)
 	1.How many seasons are there? 
 2. What are they?
 3.What’s your favourite seasons?
 4.What’s summer like?
 a. I like summer.
 b.There are four seasons.
 c. It’s usually hot.
 d. They are spring, sum...speaking.
	+ Play the tape for Ss to listen & say along.
 + Write the pattern on the board
A: Which place would you like to visit a pagoda or a museum?
B: I’d like to visit a pagoda. 
Activity 3: Practice
 -Content 2: Point and say
- Procedure:
 Point to each character & the words in the picture to fill the question
 + Have Ss ask and answer as a model picture a.
 +T asks-Ss answer , Ss ask- T answers
 + Work in pairs.
 + Role play
 S1:Which place would you like to visit, Thong Nhat ...Call a few pairs to act out the question & response in front of the class 
 S1: Is it far from here?

Procedure:
 + Show Ss how to carry out the task & circle a or b. 
 + Elicit the places to visit.
 + Have Ss repeat them.
 + Play the tape 3 times for Ss to listen. Do the task & check their answers.
 + Get Ss to swap & check their answers before checking as a class.
Activity 3: 
 -Content 5: Read and complete:
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss read the text in silence.
 + Check comprehension & give feedback.
 + Elicit the wo...g the lyrics line by line & use gestures
 + Play the tape & have Ss sing along.
 + Sing the song with the tape. The groups stand as they sing 
 + Have some Ss sing in front of the class 
 t Consolidation:
- Content: Review the song and form.
 + Form: Which place would you like to visit a pagoda or a museum?-

Procedure:
 + ask students to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today?

 -Content 3: Let’s talk
	+ Elicit the names of the characters & what each one says. 
 + Fill the bubbles & write the sentences on the board.
 + Get Ss to repeat the text a few times.
 + Have Ss practice in groups & pairs.
