I. Objectives:

 - Ss can develop some following competences:

III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
Singing the song in Unit 12, Lesson 3, Activity 8.
Sing a song
 Activity 2: 
 -Content 1.Listen and repeat
 a. Teaching the letter N/n
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss point to the letter N/n explain that the name of the letter N/n is different to its sound /n/
 +Encourage Ss to repeat several times 
 b. Set the scene:
 - Procedure:
Have pupils look a...as. Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Play the recording again and have them listen, point to the letter N/n and and repeat until they feel confident. Correct pronunciation, if necessary.
 +Play the recording again and call some pupils to say the letter N/n and the words Nick, noodles, nuts, bananas in front of the class. 
 Activity 3: 
 -Content 2: Point and say
 - Procedure:
 +Have pupils look at the picture again, saying Look at the picture on...pils to work in pairs or in group
 + Invite some pupils to point to the picture and say the sound of the letter and the words in front of the class.
 Activity 4: 
 -Fun cornner : play a game “Slap the board” 
 - Procedure:
 + Divide class into two groups
 + Ask Ss of two groups play game
 + Congratulate the winner
 t Consolidation:
- Content: Review the letter N/n and words (noodles, nuts, bananas)
- Procedure:
 + Ask Ss to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from t...ecognize the words.
 + Trace the letter N in upper case and lower case. complete the words ___ick, ba_ana ,_oodles, _uts

 + Follow the same procedure with the other lines. Show pupils how to chant and clap their hands.
 + Play the recording all the way through. Ask pupils to listen and repeat the chant individually and in chorus, saying Listen and chant, please! Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult
