 + recognize the words in different situations when listening.

 Activity 1: Warm up

 a. Teaching the letter C/c
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss point to the letter C/c explain that the name of the letter C/c is different to its sound /c /
 +Encourage Ss to repeat several times

 +Have pupils look at the picture and describe it. Draw pupils’ attention to th...
 + Play the recording again and have them listen, point to the letter C/c and the cảr, cup and cake and repeat until they feel confident. Correct pronunciation, if necessary.
 +Play the recording again and call some pupils to say the letter C/c and the words car,cup,cake in front of the class. 
 Activity 3: 
 -Content 2: Point and say
 - Procedure:
 +Have pupils look at the picture again, saying Look at the picture on Page 9, please! Ask them to describe the picture again. Draw their atte...to the picture and say the sound of the letter and the words in front of the class.
 Activity 4: 
 -Fun cornner : play a game “pelmanism” with the words cup car,cat,cake 
 - Procedure:
 + Divide class into two groups
 + Ask Ss of two groups play game
 + Congratulate the winner

- Content: Review the letter C/c and words (car, cup, cake)
- Procedure:
 + Ask Ss to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of...nt
 + recognise target words and sentence tructure while listening
 + Trace the letter C in upper case and c lower case.
 +Write the letter C/c and complete the words car,cup,cake,cat
 - Ss can develop some following competences:

 *Language focus:

+ Ask pupils to listen and repeat the first line, saying Listen again and repeat, please! Then play the recording for them to listen and repeat until they feel confident. 
 + Follow the same procedure with the other lines. Show pupils how to chant and clap their hands.
 + Play the recording all the way through. Ask pupils to listen and repeat the chant individually and in chorus, saying Listen and chant, please! Give further su...ils to point to the pictures and say the words in front of the class
