 + correctly pronounce the name of the letter O / o in isolation and in the words: locks, clocks, mops, pots.

 + recognize the words in different situations when listening.

 + Communicative and collaborative competence:act 1, 3 ,4

 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, 3

 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, 3, 4

 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4

 *Language focus:

 - The letter and sound: O/o

 - Vocabulary: locks, clocks, mops, pots.

 - Differentiated teaching:

 + Incomplete ss: can pronounce the name of the letter O / o in the words locks, mops, pots

 + Well-completed ss: can recognize the words in different situations when listening.

UNIT 9: IN THE SHOP
Lesson 1: 1, 2 (P.40) 
I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 + correctly pronounce the name of the letter O / o
 + correctly pronounce the name of the letter O / o in isolation and in the words: locks, clocks, mops, pots.
 + recognize the words in different situations when listening. 
 - Ss can develop some following competences
 + Communicative and collaborative competence:act 1, 3 ,4
 + Problem-solving competenc...et
 -Students’: books, crayons
III. Method:
 -Communicative Language Teaching
 -Total Physical Response
 -Natural Approach
 -3Ps
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
Whisper: 
Pattern: Touch your (hair, head, hand, horse)
 - Procedure:
 + T explains how to play the game.
+ T sticks 4 pictures on the board.
+ 2 groups in 2 lines.
+ T calls 2 first Ss from 2 lines, T whispers one sentence to 2 Ss, 2 Ss will whisper this sentence to Ss in their line.
+ 2 last Ss will run ...e words next to the things and the color of the letter 
 +Ask pupils to point to the letter O/o . Have them listen and repeat the sound of the letter O/o
 + Show the picture and elicit Ss to say out the words.
 +Tell pupils to point to the word locks. Ask them to listen and repeat the word
 + Repeat the same procedure with the words: clocks, mops, pots. Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Play the recording again and have them listen, point to the l...t to the letter O/o and say it, saying Point to the letter O/o and say, please!
 +Let them point to the locks and say locks , saying Point to the clocks and say, please! Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Repeat the same procedure with the words: clocks, mops, pots. Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Ask pupils to work in pairs or in group
 + Invite some pupils to point to the picture and say the sound of t...
 + Ask Ss to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? (if the teacher can take from the lesson): good behavior (queue) when we go shopping.
 + Praise some Ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback

	 - Learn by heart the words: O/o, locks, clocks, mops, pots

Period 34
UNIT 9: IN THE SHOP
Lesson 2: 3, 4, 5 (P.41)
I. Objectives: 
 *...reative competence: act 4
 *Language focus: 
 - Words: locks, clocks, mops, pots
 - Differentiated teaching:
 + Incomplete Ss: can recognise target words while listening
 + Well-completed Ss: can hear sentence structure while listening
 II. Materials:
 -Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD, Tivi, internet.
 -Students’: books, crayons
III. Method:
 -Communicative Language Teaching
 -Total Physical Response
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
 -Play game: Who’s fast... repeat the first line, saying Listen again and repeat, please! Then play the recording for them to listen and repeat until they feel confident. 
 + Follow the same procedure with the other lines. Show pupils how to chant and clap their hands.
 + Play the recording all the way through. Ask pupils to listen and repeat the chant individually and in chorus, saying Listen and chant, please! Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult
 +Select some pupils to the front of the class t...t they have heard and ticked
 + Ask pupils to share their idea with their partner
 + Call some to go to the board and write their answers
 Activity 4: 
-Content 5: Look and trace
 - Procedure:
 + Have pupils look at the letter O (upper case), o (lower case) and the pictures and words. Ask Ss to look at Tivi to see how to write O, o (Write the upper case O and the lower case o on the board)
 (+ Write the upper case O and the lower case o in broken lines on the board)
 + Tell pupils to tra...om the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson). 
 + Praise some ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.

III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
 - Game: “Jumping the line”
