I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

 - Ss can develop some following competences:

III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
Singing the song in Unit 11, Lesson 3, Activity 8.
Sing a song

 Activity 2: 
 -Content 1.Listen and repeat
 a. Teaching the letter L / l
 - Procedure:
 + Have Ss point to the letter L/l explain that the name of the letter L/l is different to its sound /l/
 +Encourage Ss to repeat several times 
 b.Set the scence:
 - P...ntent 2: Point and say
- Procedure:
 +Have pupils look at the picture again, saying Look at the picture on Page 52, please! Ask them to describe the picture again. Draw their attention to the letter L/l
 +Get them to point to the letter L/l and say it, saying Point to the letter L/l and say, please!
 +Let them point to the boy and say running , saying Point to the girl and say, please! Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Repeat the same procedure wi...words (sun, truck, bus, running)
- Procedure:
 + Ask Ss to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take from the lesson). 
 + Praise some Ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback

 -Students’: books, crayons

III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up 
 -Play game: Walk and talk
 Activity 2:
 -Content 3 : Listen and chant
 - Procedure:
+ Have pupils look at th...er support to those pupils who find it difficult
 Activity 3: 
 -Content 4: Listen and tick
 - Procedure:
 +Select some pupils to the front of the class to chant and clap their hands. The rest of the class may sing the chant along and clap their hands
 +Have pupils look at the first two pictures and say what they can see. Draw pupils’ attention to the boxes next to the letters a and b. Check comprehension.
 +Play the recording of the first sentence for pupils to listen.
 + Encourage some ... board
 + Tell pupils to trace the letter L/l, saying Now use your pencil to trace the letter L/l
 + Check the results of pupils’ tracing and give feedback. Ask pupils to work in pairs and swap their answers.
 + Ask some pupils to show what they have done. Praise them if they have done well.

 Look at the lemons
- Procedure:
 Show the picture and elicit the names of the characters.
- Explain what happens in the picture. 
- Model, Ss repeat.
- Repeat the procedure with the picture 
- Do choral & individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.
- Play the tape for Sts to listen & say along.
-Invite a few pupils to listen and repeat the sentence “Look at Lucy”
-Point to each character in the picture &...r in the picture & elicit the structure “Look at Lucy” & the words to fill the gaps.
- Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.
- Repeat the procedure with the second picture.
- Do choral & individual repetition.
- Have Ss practice in pairs. Check as a class.
(In pairs, good Ss will help the below average and average Ss.)
- Ss practice more with their friends, using their own words
